My blog post today is about one of my favorite books of 2014. Unravel by Calia Read was a book that will forever be in my mind.  It takes you on a roller coaster ride through so many emotions.

One month ago, I was admitted into a psych ward.

Yesterday, Lachlan visited me. Kissed me. And told me that I’m starting to lose my mind.

Here is the thing about this book.. it is really hard to give a great review without giving too much away. As you can tell, the description of the book is very cryptic which immediately caught my attention. I like trying to figure out where a story is going and LOVE when I get surprised by the outcome and this was one of those stories.

 

Here is my rather animated review:

HOLY FRICKIN' SH*T! 10000000000+ STARS FAVORITE BOOK OF 2014 SO FAR

I knew I had to read this book because the synopsis was so cryptic. If an author can have me hooked without even reading page one I know I'm going to love it.

 The story of Naomi is rather confusing in the beginning. I was trying to piece it all together but I was having a hard time figuring out the connection, but I'm not complaining because that made me even more hooked. The whole time I'm just thinking "Why are you in this psych ward Naomi, you don't deserve it!" I felt for her. She just was so normal and had to live in this awful place.

Lachlan, oh Lachlan. How could you not fall in love with him. He was perfect. So perfect when Naomi was going through something so rough. I loved to see their relationship blossom over the course of the book and how he was there for Naomi through everything. 

Now Max. Max was so charming and hot. Naomi & Max's connection was off the charts and it was hot! But the more Naomi got into her story & trying to figure out why she was were she was, their relationship kind of turned into something else….

When two and two get put together…MIND BLOWN

 Lana. The best friend that you just need to help. Lana & Naomi where opposites but perfect for each other. Where Lana was shy, Naomi was loud and ready to get Lana out of her shell.

Again, when two and two get put together MIND BLOWN

This book takes you through so many emotions. It deals with some things that are real but not something you really want to think about or believe happen however it does. This story touched the struggles and triumphs of those issues. 

I definitely said WOW out loud when I was finished. I truly want to read it again right now. I feel like there will be so many more clues that I didn't catch onto before.
